Hi! I'm Alexander, digital culture theorist and psychologist, doing my doctorate in Chile while I dig through the internet like someone excavating ruins.
My dissertation tracks what I call curatorial subjectivity: how we curate ourselves through platforms and how they curate us back, on TikTok, Instagram, and X. I follow the trail through the body, through the anxiety of being seen, through the stories we assemble about ourselves, and through the platform itself as something that also acts.
That's where the texts I keep writing come from: on the face as data the 4lg0r!thm dissolves filter by filter, on disconnection as a deliberate cut rather than a failure, on br41n r0t as a symptom before it's a joke, on broadcasts that cut out and the nostalgia for media that no longer exist.
This site is my open notebook: half-cooked theory, Mark Fisher obsessions, and everything that doesn't fit in a paper.

Mi tesis rastrea lo que llamo subjetividad curatorial: cómo nos curamos a través de las plataformas y cómo ellas nos curan a nosotrxs, en TikTok, Instagram y X. Sigo el rastro en el cuerpo, en la ansiedad por ser vistx, en las historias que armamos de nosotrxs mismxs, y en la plataforma misma como algo que también actúa.
De ahí salen los textos que voy escribiendo: sobre la cara como dato que el 4lg0r!tmo disuelve filtro a filtro, sobre la desconexión como corte deliberado y no como fracaso, sobre el br41n r0t como síntoma antes que chiste, sobre transmisiones que se cortan y la nostalgia por medios que ya no existen.
Este sitio es mi cuaderno abierto: teoría a medio cocinar, obsesiones con Mark Fisher, y todo lo que no cabe en un paper.
